Packing / Delivery

Packing

We pack every order with love and care to make sure you receive high quality products and healthy plants. We really want you to have a great shopping experience with us! All our plants are established and rooted. While we do our best to make sure the plants we pack are similar to what you seen in the photos, no two plants are identical and there may be variations in aspects such as colour, form, size and shape. Your order may be split and packed for multiple shipments.

Pick up

An order can be picked up from Sam’s Nursery located in Durack QLD 4077 if you prefer them not to be posted. Pick up will be during the Nursery’s opening hours between 9am and 3pm from Wednesday to Saturday. We will let you know when your order is ready for pick up (typically within 1-3 business days from receiving your order). For any pick-up orders, plants will remain in pots (i.e., not bare-rooted).

Dispatch & Delivery – Brisbane / Ipswich Metro (full product range)

For some selected Brisbane / Ipswich Metro suburbs, orders may be delivered by our own Delivery Team. In these instances, plants will be delivered while still in pots (i.e., not bare-rooted). We will contact you to arrange delivery times. Orders will be delivered within 1-3 business days. If plants are posted, this will be via Australia Post (Express Post) and can typically take 2-3 days. Note we only post on Mondays and Tuesdays to ensure that your plants do not get stuck in transit over the weekend.

Dispatch & Delivery – Rest of QLD, NSW, VIC, SA, ACT (plant orders)

An order containing both plants and products from our pots, gardening products, home décor and books ranges may be split into multiple shipments. We post any plant orders every Mondays and Tuesdays. All plant orders must be received by Monday 5 pm to ensure we can dispatch them on Tuesday and you can receive them the same week. We do this to ensure that your plants do not get stuck in transit over the weekend. We use Australia Post (Express Post) for plant deliveries and these are typically delivered in 2-3 days. Any orders received after the Monday 5 pm cut off will be posted the following Monday or Tuesday. Once your order has been dispatched, an email notification will be sent to you with your tracking number. If an order is split into multiple shipments, multiple tracking numbers will be sent to you. Dispatch & Delivery – All states across Australia (non-plant orders)

Unfortunately, due to quarantine restrictions, we cannot post plants to WA, NT or TAS. The remaining product range can be delivered across Australia. We generally use Australia Post (Standard Post) for delivery of non-plant orders. Once your order has been dispatched, an email notification will be sent to you with your tracking number. If an order is split into multiple shipments, multiple tracking numbers will be sent to you. You can track your order here.

Packing / Delivery

Order Cancellation / Order Update / Change of Mind

As we initiate the packing process very shortly after you place your order, we cannot offer a refund if you decide to cancel your order.

Damaged / Faulty / Incorrect Goods

Being living things, no two plants are identical and therefore plants posted may have variations in colour, form, size and shape, and leaves may have some markings. These instances are not treated as damaged / faulty / incorrect products.

Nevertheless, we take the utmost care in the packing and dispatch process but understand that we may get it wrong sometimes! If you receive an order and notice damaged / faulty / incorrect products, please send us an email with photos within 7 days of delivery and we will be happy to arrange an exchange or refund. Dry / withered plants

White markings on plants

These markings are from a fungicide spray we use to protect the plants from fungus diseases. These will wash off over time.

Dying plant

We want to make sure that you receive healthy plants from us every single time! But if we don’t get it right and we send you a plant whose condition deteriorates within 14 days of delivery, we will be happy to offer a refund or an exchange for the value of the plant. No refunds or exchanges will be offered on cuttings. For all rooted plants, please send us an email with photos as soon as you notice anything unusual with your plant.
